Great but hard to use

I don’t know if i am supposed to be using this app in a iPhone 7 (LOL). But it is lots of fun. But i have many problems. I dont know how to use images. Like, if i take a picture and want to use it in my little stupid cartoon short thing, but I don’t know where the button for putting the picture on it. Another problem is the color copy option. It, it’s just broken. When i use it it puts a random nearby color instead of the color i am pointing at. Making it very hard to use the same color. The undo button does not work when i change frame. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but sometimes I accidentally use the fill button and change frame accidentally or confuse the undo button with the change frame button and i have to start over. Also the change frame button is SOOOOOOOOO SMALL! I can barey use it and it is very hard. Also i would like you to change it from FPS to a bar like the one Flash uses. I would also live to be able to add sound recordings and sound effects to tge animations.
Overall good app but very buggy.

Developer Response,

Hello, thank you for the encouraging review! Animation Desk supports inserting photos to a frame. You can import photos by tapping the “folder” icon in the layer menu. However, we found some mistakes in the interface, and will soon adjust the problem and make this feature work as designed. We also try to copy the color on an iPhone Max, and the function seemed to work when we tested it. Can you double check for us, if you tap the “yes” button after you select a color? Thank you for all the suggestions on the interface, we have put them in a backlog, they are extremely helpful.

Great just 3 bugs

First of all, LOVE this app! It is so much fun to draw useless animations and show them to your friends and family. This app makes it so easy to do so and improve, in fact I’m wanting to animate more and more every day. It is so great I would highly recommend it! Like I said in the title, there a few bugs but I’ve only had three, which is really good for any app. So whenever I hit the undo button, it does nothing which is annoying because I make a lot of mistakes or draw things I intend to erase later. I swipe out of the app to fix that, but it only lasts a few minutes before it goes back. Also fill has started freezing the app whenever I try to use it, so no I have to color everything in. It doesn’t let me use the third layer sometimes, which gets annoying because I have the free version and use all three layers. Anyway, that’s it! Thank you for making such a wonderful app and continuing to update and improve. Also whenever I have a question, they respond within a few days. Thank you! This app is a masterpiece and I will continue to use it. Thanks!
Also, can you increase frames per second from 24 please?

Developer Response,

Hello Cretacious World, thank you for your encouraging review and the support. We got your feedback on the undo/redo button, the color filling tool, and layers. We added back the 4th layer in v8.1, but there have been some reports about the missing layers. We will check on that soon, but can you force close the app and open it again? If you log in with a Kdan ID, try to log out and log in again.
There are some limitations on the undo/redo function in the current version, the app can only support undo/redo in a same frame. Can you check if this is the case? As for the FPS, you can adjust the value when you create a project or in the editing section. Below are two tutorials for your reference, the FPS ranges from 12 -36.

This is the best animation app you will find!

I have found many great animation apps, including FlipaClip, sticknodes, this one, and even more. After all that, Animation Desk is, and has always been-in my opinion-the best one out there, and the easiest to use. Thank you to the creators of this app. I might get Animation Desk ultimate one day. Though this is one of the best animation apps there is, I have a few suggestions; sometimes I want to loop one part of an animation, so I copy the frames, but each copy goes after the original frame. I would really like the copied frames to go to the end of the animation. This would make it much easier to do that function. Another thing that isn’t necessarily a drawback, but would be a nice addition would be a v-cam. One final suggestion would be to make all the animations arranged as thumbnails, and you could be able to scroll up and down, to find things more easily. Thank you for reading my suggestions, and I hope you consider adding them. All in all, this app is awesome, and I really recommend it.
Sincerely, a really happy animator.

Developer Response,

Hello Seagull Squad, thank you for much for your positive review and the valuable suggestions on the frame copying, the vcam, and the frame view. We are working on the new sequence manager page right now, and will remake the editing section once we complete it. Those are very useful and interesting ideas, we will look through it. Thanks!
