A Twitter user requested me to share a list of best cracked Cydia sources in 2017. So I decided to share some popular pirate repos.

  • Before I begin, I want to clarify that this list is meant for educational purposes only. I DO NOT condone piracy and urge you to buy genuine copies of tweaks.

As the name suggests, you can download “cracked” versions of tweaks from these pirate Cydia repos for free. Adding pirate repositories that have cracked versions of tweaks can be useful for a variety of scenarios –

  • You are a teenager who’s facing a perpetual cash crunch.
  • You want to test out a tweak before purchasing a legitimate copy.
  • You don’t have access to a payment system.

1. Xarold Repo

Xarold Cydia repository is the brainchild of developer Julio Verne. Julio is infamous for cracking paid Cydia tweaks and releasing all sorts of cracking tools.

He has also developed many useful tweaks such as Ext3nder utility.

Since many old repositories are dying off, Xarold repo has effectively replaced them and proven a great alternative. It is undoubtedly the number one pirate Cydia repo in 2017.

2. HackYouriPhone Repo

HackYouriPhone Cydia repository has been around for a long time. This repository is very well designed and contains pretty much all latest tweaks.

It also carries all the latest iOS themes. If you are into customization and setups, this the repository you would want to add in Cydia.

3. BiteYourApple Repo

BiteYourApple is a mammoth Italian repository. It contains over 8000+ packages including tweaks and utilities.

You can easily download and install popular tweaks like iCleaner Pro, Phantom and Instagram++.

4. Sinful iPhone Repo

Sinful iPhone is the oldest pirate repository on the jailbreak scene. You can easily grab tweaks, mods and game hacks from this source.

Due to the rise of other Cydia repositories, its popularity has taken a hit. It’s not as big as it used to be. However, it’s still useful if you pride yourself on being a pirate.

5. AppCake

AppCake is another old player in the jailbreak scene. It is a “cracked iOS App Installer” that allows you to install cracked versions of App Store applications.

Before you add AppCake, make sure you have AppSync installed on your device.

6. Insanelyi Repo

Insanelyi is not a full-blown pirate repository. To summarize, it hosts clean tweaks as well as some cracked Cydia tweaks.

However, this source is not active as it used to be and many tweaks are not updated on a regular basis.

That’s all I remember off the top of my head. Most of these repositories are harmless. You should always beware of what you are installing on your device.
